Our Approach

We believe fitness should lift you up, not break you down. That’s why we take a kind, uplifting, and weight-inclusive approach to health. Forget the old-school fitness culture built on shame, guilt, and “no pain, no gain.” Instead, we focus on building strength, energy, and confidence for every body—at every stage of life. While we welcome members with weight-loss goals, our mission is to help women embrace all the benefits of movement and nutrition beyond the scale.

Real Women. Real Results.

From stronger bodies to healthier mindsets, our members are proving what’s possible at every stage of life.

I’m in my mid-40s and, for the first time in years, I feel like the strongest version of myself. I joined the BodyFit Athletic Club to lose weight, but what I gained was so much more—strength, energy, and confidence I didn’t think was possible at this stage of life. My relationship with food has completely shifted too; I finally feel free from the guilt and confusion of dieting. The workouts are doable, the nutrition advice actually makes sense, and the community keeps me consistent. I’ve lost the weight I wanted, but more importantly, I feel unstoppable.

Joining the BodyFit Athletic Club and finding Vivian changed everything for me. For years, I had religiously tracked my calories, and it became a crutch, and I completely forgot how to listen to my own hunger cues and cravings. It took The Method (BAC's nutrition guide) to reacquaint me with my body's own communication system. In Feb 2021, I tracked my last calorie. I made it a point to abandon all numbers in 2021.

I’ve struggled with body image for many years and participated in “diet culture” yo-yo-ing for more years than I remember at this point, but this group and both Amy and Vivian’s guidance and support have taught me to think differently…. About everything I THOUGHT, I knew about good health. Let’s just say there’s been a lot of unlearning unhealthy habits and thinking.

I wanted to surround myself with others on the same journey, so I signed up for the BAC. This journey is less about losing weight and more about becoming physically, emotionally, and mentally stronger. I no longer see working out as a chore but as something I get to do for my body and long-term mental health. Amy made me realize I am so strong, and I know that no matter what life throws at me, I can survive and come out stronger!
