It's official: we are unpausing the conversation on menopause and dedicating our next focus group (exclusive to BodyFit Athletic Club Members) to women in this life stage. If you are a woman over 40 experiencing perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause, this group is for you. Interested?

Start Date: Monday, June 03, 2024

End Date: Sunday, September 01, 2024


How long will it last? 12 weeks

Is there a requirement? Yes…ish! The group and materials are designed for women in perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause. That said, we are keeping the group open because even though all women are not in menopause, ALL women WILL go through menopause, and we need to remove the stigma around the conversation. We do not believe this topic should be reserved only for menopausal patients as this further perpetuates the stigma that already exists. We can (and should) learn about this life stage in the same way we discuss other topics such as periods, pregnancy, puberty, etc.


Who will host this focus group? Vivian Schemper, RDN, LDN, a renowned expert in women's health, will lead it in partnership with Amy Kiser Schemper.


What will this group entail? A wealth of value! A specialized menopausal fitness program, supplement recommendations, and a nutrition guide with a six-week meal plan specifically tailored to the needs of women in the menopausal stages! Joining the BodyFit Athletic Club and finding Vivian changed everything for me. For years, I had religiously tracked my calories, and it became a crutch, and I completely forgot how to listen to my own hunger cues and cravings. It took The Method (BAC's nutrition guide) to reacquaint me with my body's own communication system. In Feb 2021, I tracked my last calorie. I made it a point to abandon all numbers in 2021.
